I was placed in a suite which was a nice surprise, for no extra cost. The food was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable.
Although the food is not to be missed, your dining experience does take a long time, You book a table for 7, however you may not get seated until 7:45 and therefore dont each until 8pm. Also my cooked breakfast took about 45 mins to arrange. I would not recommend that you eat here if you are in a rush.

Perfect for a Wedding Weekend!
The place was beautifully decorated, super comfy beds, and the food was delish. Loved chilling by the fire, just wished the coffee machine was working. The staff were super friendly, but breakfast service was a bit slow when it got busy. A lovely stay!

The location and standard of accommodation were excellent. Although a last minute booking for just one night, we would definitely stay again.
The shower's power did not live up to expectations and my husband's bath took well over half an hour to run - being a plumber he put the fault down to the pipes being too narrow.

The nature reserve on-site provided a serene escape, where we spotted deer during our morning walks. The wedding we attended had exceptional coordination, making the celebration smooth and enjoyable.

Excellent breakfast. One of the best I have had in a hotel
I arrived at 9.15pm. The hotel had been informed I would arrive around 9 but there was no one in reception and it took ages to book in. But staff were very virtuous and friendly. Description on bookings.com said free wifi everywhere in hotel but was only available on ground floor.
